FEEL LIKE JESSE JAMES
[ country -- written by Razzy Bailey; Goodlettsville, TN ]

Bad men win and good guys lose
Cheatin’ and stealin’, it’s in the news
Robbin’ with a pen instead of a gun
But in the end the damage is done
Never call another man a fool
We should live by the golden rule
But my trigger finger starts to itch
When I get treated like a son of a bitch

Sometimes I feel like Jesse James
Need a fast runnin’ horse and a slow rollin’ train
To much givin’ and not enough gain
Tryin’ to find a rainbow in the pourin’ rain

Like the Great Depression way back then
The wolves are howlin’ at my door again
I been without for so long
Even lost my broken home
As you sow, so shall you reap
Bless all the homeless in the street
When I hear a hungry baby cryin’ at night
Well, I get so mad that I want to fight

Sometimes I feel like Jesse James
Need a fast runnin’ horse and a slow rollin’ train
To much givin’ and not enough gain
Tryin’ to find a rainbow in the pourin’ rain

Oh, yeah. . . Feel like Jesse James
Oh, yeah, got to find me a rainbow
I feel like it’s time to take down my old six-gun n’ ride again
Could it be I’m livin’ now and I lived back then
Got to find me a rainbow in the pourin’ rain
Sometimes I believe I'm gonna ride again
Oh yeah, I feel just, feel just like Jesse James
