IF I HAD A BILLION DOLLARS
[ country; co-written by Judy Klass ]

If I had a billion dollars, I could change life’s circumstance
Buy a mansion on the ocean, vacation at my summer ranch
I could throw a week-long party, quit my job at the factory
Livin' easy and free, oh how happy I could be
If I had a billion dollars

If I had a billion dollars, would I want a billion more?
Would I invest it wisely, help out the sick and poor?
Would it buy me love an' good times and help me to unwind?
Would life treat me kind, would I find peace of mind
If I had a billion dollars?

If I had a billion dollars, would it bring me satisfaction?
Or would everyone come around for their piece of the action?
Would folks drop by on Sunday to treat me like they did before?
Or would I lock an' bar the door, never trust 'em anymore
If I had a billion dollars?

We’re so certain we’d be happy in a lavish life of luxury
So we lay our dollars down for a billion chance-in-one lifestyle changin' jackpot
lottery

If I had a billion dollars, would there still be a me and you?
If we suddenly got wealthy, would our love still ring true?
Would we be a happy family and would our kids come out okay?
Or would there soon come a day when I wished it all away
If I had a billion dollars?  Umumum, umumum, umumum, umumum
If I had a billion dollars
